The 14U Junior SunDogs kicked off their club volleyball season with a gold medal at an eight-team tournament on Saturday in Warman.
They won their round robin pool with wins over the Saskatoon JCVC Heat, Wakaw Warriors, and Prince Albert Toppers Esprit.
In the quarter-finals, the 14U SunDogs beat the Lloydminister Solarus and then once again beat the Wakaw Warriors in the semi-finals.
They matched up against the host Warman Volleyball Club in the championship match and beat them in straight sets (25-19, 16-24) to capture gold.
