The Swift Current Tarpon Energy Broncos scored 21 goals in a weekend sweep of the visiting Melville Millionaires.
Saturday, the Broncos won 12-2 behind a four-goal outing from Carter Moen. Kadyn Olfert also had a hat trick, while Kasey Gleim registered two goals and one assist and Jamie Kirwan added a goal and two assists. Matty Schmiess added a goal and an assist and Ryder Leshures also scored.
Dane Irwin, Taye Silbernagel, Jaxson Squires, and Tysen Kobley all had two-assist outings, while Hudson Rivjers earned the win in goal.
Sunday, the Broncos followed up with an 8-3 win as Kaleigha Irwin backstopped the team to victory.
Silbernagel registered two goals and one assist, followed by a goal and two assists from Gleim. Moen scored twice, Schmiess added a goal and an assist, while Leshures and Kyron Watson also scored. Luke Lafontaine and Squires added single helpers.
The Broncos continue to lead the South East Atom Tier I Hockey League with a 9-1-0 record. They will visit Melville on Saturday and Sunday.
