The Swift Current rink representing Saskatchewan was unable to win in the championship pool at the 2020 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship on Thursday.
Skip Shaun Meachem, third Kelly Schafer, second Chris Haichert, and lead Teejay Haichert are currently representing Saskatchewan in Saguenay, QC as they finished 4-2 in the round robin by winning their final three games after a 1-2 start.
The Swift Current rink lost 5-4 to New Brunswick in the championship pool on Thursday afternoon. They fell to 4-4 that evening in a 9-2 loss to Quebec.
Saskatchewan will face British Columbia (4-4) on Friday afternoon and Manitoba (4-3) that evening to conclude the championship pool.
