The Swift Current Comp. Colts have medal ambitions as they host 5A SHSAA Soccer Provincials this weekend.
The Colts have a strong returning cast from the squad that placed fourth in Provincials last season and have won tournament, league, and Regional titles already this season.
The Colts will open the eight-team tournament on Friday at 9 a.m. at Irwin Field against Regina Miller in the quarter-final. Should they win, the Colts would face either Prince Albert St. Mary or Saskatoon St. Joseph in the semi-final at 1 p.m. at Irwin Field.
The championship match is set for Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Swift Current Comp. Ardens are at 5A Provincials in Saskatoon this weekend. They will face the Regina Campbell Tartans in the quarter-final on Friday at 9 a.m.
The Herbert Laurels are in Duck Lake for 3A 7v7 Provincials this weekend. They open the eight-team event against Waldheim on Friday morning.
