Swift Current’s Rylan Hildebrand represented Saskatchewan at the 2019 15U Boys Ray Carter Cup Championships in Oshawa, Ontario this week.
Thursday, Saskatchewan opened the tournament with a 13-2 loss to Quebec when Hildebrand started at first base. They took on British Columbia that evening and lost 15-10.
Saskatchewan lost 7-1 to the host Oshawa team in their only game on Friday.
Saturday, Saskatchewan concluded the round robin with a 4-0 shutout win over Ontario.
Saskatchewan hit a walk-off home run on Sunday to conclude the tournament with a 5-4 win over Alberta to place seventh with two wins and three losses.
