The Swift Current U16 Sonic softball team finished one win short of the medal games at Provincials in Regina over the weekend.
The Sonic finished with a 2-1 record in the round robin. They defeated Prince Albert 15-10, lost 12-10 to the Regina Rebels in extra innings, and won 13-10 over Watrous.
They were eliminated in a 13-12 loss in the quarter-final to Kindersley despite holding a lead in the final inning.
