Surge Battle at the Bridge

The Swift Current Surge U11 Girls basketball team was in Lethbridge for the Battle at the Bridge Tournament and finished with a 2-2 record to place fourth out of 10 teams.

The Surge won their opening game 33-13 over the Cougar Club. Naimy Regier was named the player of the game.

The Surge added a 28-24 win over the Lethbridge Express as Milana Dyck collected player of the game honours.

The Surge suffered their first loss in a 27-25 setback against the Lethbridge Legends. Navy Louma was named the player of the game.

Swift Current concluded the tournament with a 50-16 loss to another Cougar Club team. Olivia Ferguson was named the player of the game.
