Four members of the Swift Current Pure Chem Bantam Broncos were selected in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Bantam Draft on Friday.
Defenseman Mckale Paul was the first Broncos player selected when the Estevan Bruins took him in the first round, 10th overall. Paul was the top scoring defenseman on the team with 13 goals and 27 points in 2018-19.
Forward Dayne Feicht was the next player drafted when the Nipawin Hawks selected him with the 33rd overall pick in the third round. Feicht led the Broncos with 27 goals in 30 games and was second with 46 points.
A pair of teammates were selected in the sixth and final round of the draft. The Melfort Mustangs selected forward Rhett Dekowny with the 65th overall pick. Dekowny was fourth in team scoring with 29 points in 31 games.
The Weyburn Red Wings added defenseman Ayden Lemarre with the 68th overall pick. Lemarre posted 15 points and 42 penalty minutes in 29 games.
