United soccer teams host friendlies

The Swift Current United Soccer Club hosted a full slate of friendlies over the weekend against teams from Regina, Moose Jaw, and Kindersley.

The U11 United Girls lost their first game 2-0 to QC United, but then rebounded to win the rematch 5-2 on Saturday.

The U11 United Striker Boys defeated QC United 8-4. The U11 Roma Boys tied QC United 2-2.

The U13 Border Creek United Girls hosted QC United for two games on Saturday and lost the opener 1-0 and tied 1-1 in a match that was shortened due to weather.

The U13 United Boys defeated QC United 6-0 before the rematch was wiped out by inclement weather.

The U17 United Girls won both games over the Kindersley Storm on Sunday. They won the opener 6-0 and then followed up with a 5-0 win in the afternoon.

The U9 Chase United Boys took on Moose Jaw’s JJ Soccer on Sunday and lost 1-0. They added a 2-0 win over the United Neufeld Boys.

The U9 Neufeld United Boys lost 5-0 to Moose Jaw before being edged by their rival United team.

The U9 United Girls teams played one another on Saturday and tied 3-3.
