If you love badminton, Saturday, April 27 you will have lots of options of where and what to watch. The SWAC Senior District badminton championship will be in Swift Current and our junior badminton players will be in action at three sectional meets (at Herbert, Ponteix, Leader and Eastend gyms).
The SHSAA senior provincial championship is in Swift Current on May 11. This is a great opportunity to come and see the top high school players in Saskatchewan. It will be many years before this championship is in the South West again.
It must be spring… Because SHSAA golf practices can officially start. The Provincial Championship will be in September 2019. Golf is the only SHSAA activity that runs over the summer holidays.
SWAC/SHSAA activities will slow down due to the upcoming Easter break. Badminton and track playoffs will start up right after that holiday. Keep checking “SWACSports” Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep up on all the SWAC happenings.
