The Swift Current Peewee A Broncos hold a commanding lead in the SHA Provincial Playoffs. They defeated Yorkton 6-2 on the road to open the two-game, total-goal South Final on Saturday.
Derric Dulatre led the Broncos with a hat trick, while Jonah Stechyshyn added a goal and two assists. Grayson Collier and Aidan Robinson also scored. Nate Silbernagel added two assists, while Austin Robinson picked up a single helper.
Jamie McKay-Tangen earned the win in goal.
Game two will be Saturday at 4:45 p.m. at the Innovation Credit Union iplex.
Meadow Lake and Martensville are playing in the North Final.
