There were no major upsets in the opening round of the Swift Current Curling Club’s Innovation Credit Union Super League playoffs on Thursday.
Four of the top five teams advanced to the semi-finals. The only minor upset came when fifth seeded Swift Plumbing & Heating Ltd (Wicks) knocked off fourth seeded Cypress Ford/Subway (Rumpel). Wicks will now face top seeded RBC Dominion Securities (Haichert), who finished 7-0 in the regular season.
The other semi-final on March 14 will feature second seeded Choice Driving School (Quintin) against third seeded defending champion Ilta Grain/Westax (Kirkpatrick).
March 7 results:
