Swift Current’s Ghrandozz Aguilar won once in three attempts in Men’s Judo at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer on Wednesday.
Aguilar opened his day in the -73KG Division with a loss to Prince Edward Island’s Christopher Robert LaFrance in the preliminary round.
He picked up a win over Newfoundland and Labrador’s Tyler Russell in the Repêchage B.
His day came to an end in Repêchage C with a loss to New Brunswick’s Loïc Cassista to finish tied for seventh.
The Judo team competition will take place on Friday.
