The Swift Current Bantam Colts concluded the Saskatchewan Female Bantam A Hockey League regular season on Friday with a one-goal loss to the first-place Moose Jaw Mavericks to place third in the 12-team South Division with a 15-4-3 record.
The Colts lost 4-3 to the host Mavericks on Friday. Brogan Carlson, Sadie Keller, and Chloe Shoemaker all scored in the loss. Rebecca Elliot picked up the only assist.
Keller finished the season tied for fourth in scoring in the province with 45 points in 22 games. Goaltender Annika Kirk was sixth with a 2.36 goals against average.
The Colts will now face the Balcarres Barracudas in a best-of-three South Division quarter-final series.
