The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires snapped a four-game losing streak in convincing fashion with a 5-0 win over the host Moose Jaw Generals in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League on Thursday.
Blake Rasmuson scored twice, while Boston Bird, Logan Linklater, and Joe Arntsen also scored.
Riley Dekowny picked up a pair of assists, while Reed Jacobson, Mac Gross, and Bird added single helpers.
Ethan Hein stopped all 31 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season. Hein is now 4-0 with two shutouts against his former team this season.
The Legionnaires improved to 20-10-1-0, while the Generals dropped to 10-19-2-1.
The Legionnaires will host the Tisdale Trojans on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Gull Lake during Hockey Day in Saskatchewan.
