The Swift Current Tarpon Energy Broncos won two of three games over the Estevan Bruins in the South East Atom Tier I Hockey League over the weekend.
The Broncos won the opener 10-9 on Friday, led by a four-goal outing from Mason Fauser. Kasey Gleim added two goals and two assists, and Paxton Wallace finished with a goal and three assists. Kadyn Olfert registered two goals and one assist, while Hayden Winslow tallied a goal and two assists. Riley Schmiess and Ryder Leshures each added single helpers.
The Broncos added a 9-1 win on Saturday as Gleim scored four goals to go along with one assist. Wallace, Olfert, Carter Moen, and Jackson Tuplin each registered a goal and an assist. Griffin Darby also scored.
Winslow picked up three assists; Fauser, Daxer Schroeder, and Levi Wills all picked up a pair of helpers; and Kyron Watson added one assist.
The Broncos lost 6-5 on Sunday to the host Bruins. Gleim and Schroeder each scored twice in the loss. Wills, Jacob Penley, Fauser, and Moen all added assists.
The Atom Broncos improved to 11-4-0 on the season. They host the Yorkton Terriers on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at Fairview East Arena.
