Atom Broncos beat up on Weyburn

The Swift Current Tarpon Atom Tier I Energy Broncos scored 30 goals during three wins over the visiting Weyburn Wings over the weekend.

Friday, the Broncos took advantage of some undisciplined play from the Wings in a 6-1 victory. Daxer Schroeder led the way with two goals and one assist. Hayden Winslow followed with two goals and Jacob Penley added a goal and an assist, while Mason Fauser also scored. Kasey Gleim and Carter Moen each added two assists, while Griffin Darby and Kadyn Olfert added single helpers.

The Broncos increased their offensive production with an 11-3 win on Saturday. Fauser led the way with three goals and one assist, followed by Schroeder with a goal and four assists. Gleim added two goals and one assist, while Darby and Levi Wills each registered a goal and two assists. Olfert scored twice, while Kyron Watson and Winslow each added a pair of assists. Moen also scored, while Paxton Wallace added a single helper.

Sunday, the Broncos added a 13-6 win to conclude the weekend. Fauser compiled three goals and three assists, Gliem posted four goals and one assist, and Wallace registered a goal and four assists. Winslow finished with four assists, while Olfert added two goals and one assist and Watson chipped in a pair of helpers.

Moen, Penley, and Jaxon Tuplin also scored, while Darby and Ryder Leshures added assists.

The Broncos improved to 6-2-0 in the South East Atom Tier I Hockey League as Weyburn fell to 0-6.

The Atom Broncos will visit the Wings for two games this weekend.
