A trio of Southwest cowboys are in the hunt after two rounds at the 2018 Canadian Finals Rodeo in Red Deer.
Maple Creek’s Jared Parsonage sits fourth amongst 12 cowboys in Bull Riding.
Parsonage produced an eight-second ride on Tuesday when he placed seventh with 81.25 points on The Silence. He improved to 83.75 points on Wednesday to place fourth in round two.
Waldeck’s Tuftin and Tyce McLeod were sixth in Team Roping after the second of six rounds.
The McLeods placed sixth in the first round on Tuesday in 10.4 seconds. They improved to 6.4 seconds in round two but still placed sixth out of 12 teams.
