CCA Finals moves past midway point

Day three of the CCA Finals in Swift Current featured three event wins from Southwest cowboys.

Event winners on Friday were as follows:

Bareback – Brady Bertram (Maple Creek) Score 78.5.

Team Roping – Dalton Kraft (Irvine, AB) and Jared Pacoast (Cypress Country, AB Time 4.4.

Saddle Bronc – (tie) Coleman Watt (Hardisty, AB) and Colt Smith (Aldersyde, AB) Score 76.5.

Steer Wrestling – Travis Munro (Qu Appelle) Time 3.7.

Ladies Barrel Racing – Jordan Fitzhenry (Coaldale, AB) Time 12.63.

Tie Down Roping – Kevin Dunham (Souris, MB) Time 10.0.

Bull Riding – Chanse Switzer (Hazenmore) Score 84.

Junior Steer Riding – James Perrin (Maple Creek) score 74.5.

Junior Girls Barrel Racing – Kayce Liptak (Taber, AB) Time 12.81.

Novice Saddle Bronc – Kaden Paton (Carnduff) Score 52.

Novice Bareback – Casey Bear (Whitewood) Score 72.

Novice Bull Riding – Stefan Tonita (Saskatoon, SK) Score 76.

The CCA Finals will conclude with performances on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
