Peewee 57’s win once at home

The Swift Current Peewee AAA 57’s won once in four attempts at home in the Regina Baseball League over the weekend.

The Peewee 57’s were blanked 15-0 by the Regina White Sox in the opener on Saturday. They kept the second game close until the sixth inning but eventually lost 10-3.

The 57’s got into the win column on Sunday with a 15-13 victory over the Weyburn Beavers. Connor Choo-Foo got the win, while Brayden Sumner hit a home run. The 57’s dropped the second game by a 12-6 count.

The Peewee 57’s will continue with their Regina League schedule on June 28 when they visit the White Butte Broncos.
