After winning six medals on day one, South West Athletic Conference athletes added five medals on the final day of the SHSAA Track and Field Provincial Championships in Prince Albert.
Swift Current’s Scott Joseph added two medals on Saturday after winning the Junior Boys 100 Metre Dash on Friday. Joseph also won the Triple Jump at Provincials when he jumped 13.22 metres to easily top the field.
Leader’s Jackson Sitter won bronze in the Junior Boys Triple Jump with a top jump of 12.40 metres.
Joseph added his third medal of the meet when he placed third in the 200 Metre Dash in 23.93 seconds behind Dalmeny’s Jayce Janzen (23.64) and Jordan Dasiuk (23.79).
The Southwest also won two medals in the 4×100 Metre Relay. The Junior Boys won silver in 45.84 seconds. The Midget Boys team won bronze in 47.93 seconds.
