Atom Broncos win B Event in Brandon

The Swift Current Atom Tier I Broncos were in Brandon for a tournament over the weekend where they won three of four games.

They met little resistance on Friday with a 10-0 win over the Kenora Thistles. Ryder Woods led a prolific attack with four goals and one assist. Derric Dulatre added a goal and three assists, while Parker Rondeau finished with two goals and one assist. Daxer Schroeder scored twice, while Aidan Robinson also scored.

Ty Switzer picked up a pair of assists, followed by single helpers from Brady Simpson, Griffin Darby, Hudson Unger, and Jackson Tuplin.

They followed up with a 12-3 win over the Transcona Regents, led by three goals and five assists from Rondeau. Woods added four goals and three assists, followed by a two-goal outing from Switzer.

Dulatre, Schroeder, and Darby also scored, while Simpson, Unger, and Aston Annesley all added assists.

The Atom Broncos suffered their first loss on Saturday in a 5-4 loss to the Minot Wolves.

Dulatre led the Broncos with two goals and one assist, while Rondeau finished with a goal and two assists. Woods also scored, while Simpson and Annesley added assists.

The Broncos rounded out the tournament with a 3-0 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors to win the B Event.

Rondeau registered two goals and one assist, while Darby added two assists. Dulatre also scored and Simpson added a single helper.
