The Swift Current 16U Female Junior SunDogs got their season off to a strong start in Medicine Hat as they won seven of eight games over four matches against teams from Medicine Hat and Lethbridge.
The Junior Sundogs, coached by Shawn Hiebert, Travis Kelln, and Darren Lehmann, split their opener 25-23 and 20-25 against the Medicine Hat Wild.
The 16U SunDogs responded with straight sets victories over the Lethbridge Volleyball Club (25-9, 25-17), Medicine Hat Rattlers Black (25-22, 25-21), and the Lethbridge Panthers (25-20, 25-19).
