The Swift Current Broncos continued their recent overtime success with a 3-2 win over the Red Deer Rebels Saturday.
Max Paterson was the overtime hero with his second goal of the season 1:44 into the extra frame.
Glenn Gawdin and Matteo Gennaro both scored power play goals for the Broncos during two-point outings.
Grayson Pawlenchuk and Kristian Reichel replied for the Rebels.
Joel Hofer made 27 saves to improve to 4-1-0-0 for the Broncos. Riley Lamb made 32 saves in a losing cause.
The Broncos improved to 21-7-2-0, while Red Deer dropped to 9-18-4-1. The Broncos are now 4-2 in games decided in the three-on-three overtime period.
The Broncos will play their third game in as many days when they visit the Edmonton Oil Kings on Sunday afternoon.
