Young female athletes will have the opportunity to participate in the Fast and Female Champ Chat, presented by Female Women Champions in Swift Current on September 17. The event will take place at the Swift Current Comp. Gymnasium from 1-5 p.m.
Girls ages 8-16 are invited for a day of empowerment through sports. Fast and Female Ambassadors expected to be in attendance will be Kelsie Hendry, a 2008 pole vault Olympian; Jessica Furlan, the Canadian record holder in steeplechase; and Jessica Frotten, a 2015 Parapan Am Games bronze medalist in wheelchair racing.
Registration is online and must be completed by September 15. Registration is free as it is complimentary of Sask Sport and even includes a Fast and Female L.L. Bean Technical T-shirt. Further details and online registration are available at www.fastandfemale.com.
