The Swift Current 57’s suffered their first loss of the Western Major Baseball League season 4-2 to the visiting Lethbridge Bulls Wednesday.

The battle between two unbeaten teams tilted in the third inning when a Brock Frentzel bases loaded double cleared the bases as a part of a four-run inning.

The 57’s replied in the bottom of the inning when Riley Campbell tripled home Matt Bondarchuk for their first run. Kiel Krumwiede homered to leadoff the ninth inning but that was as close as the home team would get.

Cole Thibideau (centre) turned a nifty double play in the third inning.
