The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires earned a 6-0 shutout win over the Saskatoon Blazers on Tuesday in Saskatoon. Berney Weston made 28 saves for his second shutout of the season.
Keegan Nash scored twice and Will Kirwan assisted in three goals. Triston Mitchell-Mcelhone, Jackson Fox, Porter Nickason, and Connor Rieger all scored. Ryder Leshures, Hunter Wilm, Sam Kirwan, and Wesley Olson all added assists.
The Legionnaires remain third in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League with a 25-10-0 record. The Blazers fell to 20-8-2 in fifth spot.
The Legionnaires will host the Saskatoon Contacts for two games this weekend.
