The Swift Current rink representing Canada at the 2024 World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland were eliminated in the opening game of the playoffs.
The rink of Shaun Meachem, Kelly Schafer, Chris Haichert, and Teejay Haichert lost 6-4 to the Netherlands on Friday.
Netherlands, Japan, Spain, Norway, Switzerland, USA, Poland, and Sweden remain alive in the 39-team tournament.
