The Swift Current rink representing Canada at the 2024 World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland finished the round robin with a perfect 7-0 record.
The rink of Shaun Meachem, Kelly Schafer, Chris Haichert, and Teejay Haichert defeated New Zealand 8-5 on Thursday. The game was tied 5-5 before Canada scored three points in the seventh end.
Canada will now face Spain in the quarter-final on Friday. Spain placed second in Group C with a 6-1 record.
