Meachem rink wins twice at Mixed World Championship

The Swift Current rink representing Canada at the 2024 World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland remain unbeaten with two wins on Wednesday.

The rink of Shaun Meachem, Kelly Schafer, Chris Haichert, and Teejay Haichert won 10-2 over Czechia and then defeated the Philippines 15-1 to improve to 6-0 with only one game remaining in the round robin.

Canada will face New Zealand on Thursday to wrap up the round robin. They are one of four teams at 6-0 at the 39-team event, joined by Sweden, USA, and Spain.
