The Colts will play in SHSAA regional playoffs on Oct 19-20 in Moose Jaw. The Ardens are headed to Weyburn that same weekend for their regional championship. The top two teams in both regionals will advance to SHSAA provincials.

FOOTBALL
The last scheduled 9-man football league games were played last week. The Gull Lake Lion’s season came to an end with a league loss to Moose Jaw Vanier (63-28). Maple Creek was on the road to Notre Dame and they came away with a big win (44-14). The team placed fourth in the league and will go to Lumsden on Friday for the league semi-final.

Shaunavon hosted Lumsden in a battle of undefeated teams in the last league game. The Shadows lost the game 53-27 and will finish second in the league. They will host Moose Jaw Vanier on Friday, October 18 in the league semi-final.

12-man SCCHS finished sixth in the south rural league. They will host #7 Estevan in the Tier 2 semi-final on Saturday, October 19. The winner of that game will travel to #5 Moose Jaw Peacock on Oct. 26 for the Tier 2 final.
