This is a message from the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety – Conservation Officers Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network. 

Highway Oil Spill – Gull Lake Area

On June 3, 2024, the Ministry of Environment received a call from the Spill Control Centre about an oil spill on Highway 37 North of Gull Lake, Sask. Upon investigation it was determined that a large amount of oil had been released from what was believed to be a tanker truck hauling the product from an unknown location. The release follows Highway 37 southbound for 19kms and ends at HWY 1. It is believed the incident took place between the hours of 2:00pm and 3:30pm on June 3.
