The Swift Current U17 Surge won all five games to claim gold at the 2024 Provincial Club Championship in Regina over the weekend.
The Surge defeated the GTBC Girls North and the Xcite Penguins in the round robin. They added a semi-final win over the Melfort Northern Lights and a semi-final win over Saskatoon’s Supernovas.
The U17 Surge defeated Regina’s Unity Hoops 55-39 in the gold medal game.
