A full contingent of Gelico Gymnastics athletes were in action at the Moose Jaw Stick It Meet on April 27-28.
Leading the way for the Swift Current club was Brooklyn Leppa with a first-place finish in the Xcel Gold (2007-2010) Division with 35.40 points. She placed first in Vault (8.725) and Uneven Bars (8.85). Leppa was also second in Beam (8.725) and fifth in Floor (9.10).
Right behind her was teammate Breanna Dyck in second with 34.50 points. Dyck won the Beam with 9.325 points. She was also fourth in Uneven Bars (8.75) and added scores of 7.675 on Vault and 8.750 on the Floor.
Stella Thomson placed third in the Level 3 (2013-2014) Division with an All-Around score of 36.075. Her top event was second in Vault (9.45). She also placed fifth in Uneven Bars (8.95) and Beam (9.075) and was eighth in Floor (8.60).
Kadence Fifield added a third-place showing in Level 3 (2010-2012) with an All-Around score of 35.60 points. She was second in Uneven Bars (9.325), and third in Vault (9.225). Fifield was also sixth in Floor (8.45) and seventh in Beam (8.60).
