The WHL Playoffs are back in Swift Current for the first time since 2018 and there’s a party planned for game one at the InnovationPlex to kick off the playoff run.
First, a playoff tailgate is planned from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the lower lobby of the arena. Diamond Energy Services is sponsoring the event with hot dogs, pop, and alcoholic beverages available for attendees and sparkle tattoos for the kids.
“We can’t wait to bring playoff hockey back to our fans and the City of Swift Current this weekend,” said Broncos Executive Vice President of Business Operations Kevin Simpson. “Friday is going to be an exciting night with the pre-game tailgate party to kick things off. It’s going to be a special weekend and we look forward to seeing all our fans decked out in their Broncos gear and making it loud in the InnovationPlex.”
At the game itself, #SaddleUp Rally Towels sponsored by Pioneer Co-op will be placed on every seat and will be in every corporate box for fans to help cheer on the Broncos as they take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes!
And, with every game during the 2024 playoffs, the Canadian Tire Swift Current Broncos 50/50 lottery is seeded at $5,000, with tickets already on sale for the draw that will run until the third period of Friday’s game!
