Dyck earns second straight shutout for Broncos in Regina

Reid Dyck earned his second straight shutout as the Swift Current Broncos defeated the host Regina Pats 3-0 on Friday.

Two nights after a 28-save shutout on home ice, Dyck made 26 saves to to improve to 11-6-1-0 for the Broncos with his fourth career WHL shutout.

Defenseman Zach Turner got the Broncos on the board with his fourth goal of the season midway through the second period.

The Broncos took control of the game in the third period with goals 29 seconds apart from Clarke Caswell and Ty Coupland.

Ewan Huet fell to 8-13-0-1 with 36 saves for Regina.

The Broncos improved to 24-18-3-2 as the Pats fell to 17-25-4-2.

The Broncos will open a five-game home stand on Saturday when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings.
