The Swift Current 14UW Selects Junior SunDogs won a 10-team tournament in Rosthern over the weekend.
They topped their round robin pool with a 6-2 set record. They defeated Watrous WVC (25-21, 25-23) to open Saturday’s action. The SunDogs then split with Wolfpack Blue (25-21, 26-27) and CVVC Storm (18-25, 25-20). They closed out the round robin with a win over Nipawin Fusion (25-23, 25-19).
The SunDogs, coached by Travis Cuthbert, won the final 27-25 and 25-16 over the Wolfpack White team.
