The CMX Powersports moto cross team finished up the third round of the provincial race circuit on Sunday in Weyburn. Rider Luke Hodgins had an overall excellent day. Luke place first overall in the MX1 class, fifth in the Junior MX2, and sixth in Junior MX3.
Trehvan McMorris also had an excellent day placing first in all four motos he raced in giving him the first overall in both Junior MX2 and Junior MX3 open. Trehvan currently sits first overall in both classes after the first three rounds.
Jesse Gardner rode very well but went down a couple times in the MX2 motos. Jesse placed 12th in the Junior MX2 and a very respectable fourth in the junior MX3.
Krystyn Gardner had a very good day as well placing 7th in the ladies class and sixth in the beginner class.
Tesla Gardner swaped positions with her sister Krysten placing sixth in the ladies and seventh in the beginner class.
Rhyker McMorris had a bit of a rough go. He crashed hard and was forced to withdraw from the races.
Trehvan McMorris is off to Edmonton next weekend to try his luck out in the Amateur Nationals.
The next provincial round is in Moose Jaw on June 11.
