Legionnaires pick up first win at Circle K Classic

Swift Current Home Hardware U18 AAA Legionnaires

The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires closed out the round robin with a 4-3 win over RINK Kelowna at the Circle K Classic on Thursday.

Berney Weston made 28 saves to earn the win. Rylan Williams and Kade Stringer each had one goal and two assists in the win. Eric Hoiness added a goal and an assist. Hudson Darby also scored, while Owen Latendresse, Jack Puckett, and Parker Rondeau all added assists.

Preston Patenaude made 39 saves in a losing cause for Kelowna. Jace Harder, Cameron Schmidt, and Reegan Komiko scored for Kelowna.

The Legionnaires finished two-for-six on the power play. Kelowna was one-for-four on the man-advantage.

The Legionnaires (1-2-0-0) will now face the St. Louis Blues (0-1-1-1) on Friday morning.
