U13 Surge win twice at Prairie Premier Classic

The U13 Surge girls finished with two wins and one loss at the 2022 Prairie Premier Classic tournament. The U13 Surge girls finished with two wins and one loss at the 2022 Prairie Premier Classic tournament in Moose Jaw.

The Surge lost game one 55-44 to the Regina Misfits. Danica Jackson led the Surge with 17 points and was named the player of the game. Aftyn Bakus followed with nine points.

The Surge rebounded with a 40-27 win over the Regina Ravens. Talyah Cuthbert notched 14 points, Jackson added 10, and Bakus was named the player of the game.

The Surge defeated the Medicine Hat Renegades Black 36-34 in their final game of the weekend. Jackson led the offense with 13 points, followed by seven from Bakus. Hailey Bollinger was named the player of the game.

The U13 Surge finished the weekend with a 5-1 season record. They will wind up the spring club season at The Battle at the Bridge Tournament in Lethbridge on June 10-11.
