Broncos move into seventh with win over Hurricanes 

The Swift Current Broncos let a pair of two-goal leads evaporate before getting two late goals from Raphael Pelletier to clinch a 6-4 win over the host Lethbridge Hurricanes on Wednesday.

The Broncos moved into seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 26-31-5-2 record after their sixth win in the past seven games. Lethbridge dropped to eighth with a 27-30–3-1 mark.

Pelletier scored a power play goal with 5:34 remaining in regulation to give the Broncos the lead for good and then deposited his 19th goal of the season into an empty net to complete a three-point outing.

Karson King, Kayden Sadhra-Kang, Eric Van Impe, and Carter Stebbings also scored as the Broncos finished the season with a 6-1-1-0 record against the Hurricanes. Isaac Poulter earned the win with 33 saves.

Chase Pauls, Yegor Klavdiev, Miguel Marques, and Corson Hopwo replied for the Hurricanes. Bryan Thomson took the loss with 28 saves.

The Broncos will host the Calgary Hitmen on Friday with only four games remaining in the regular season.
