The Swift Current Comp. Ardens capped one of the most successful basketball seasons in school history with a fourth-place finish at 5A SHSAA Hoopla in Regina.
The third seeded Ardens opened the tournament with a dramatic 71-69 overtime win over Saskatoon Centennial on Friday.
Saturday, the Ardens were defeated 77-47 in the semi-final by the second seeded Regina Campbell Tartans, who went on to win gold in overtime over the top seeded Saskatoon St. Joseph Guardians.
The Ardens were edged 80-76 by Regina Riffel in the bronze medal game.
The Ardens finished the season with a 27-7 record with five tournament titles along the way.
