The Swift Current Pure Chem Broncos forced a third and deciding game with a 6-3 win over the host Regina Aces on Sunday.
Two days after being shutout 4-0 in game one of the Saskatchewan U15 AA Hockey League South Division semi-final, the Broncos scored the opening four goals and rode a 32-save performance from Berney Weston to the win. Jace Egland led the Broncos with two goals and one assist, while Wesley Olson added a goal and two assists. Theron Watteyne, Mason Fauser, and Will Kirwan all registered a goal and an assist, while Parker Rondeau picked up a pair of assists. Chase Petersen and Dylan Gedny also added assists.
Dayce Derkatch, Logan Mehl, and Reid Bechard scored for the Aces, Tyson Jackson took the loss with 29 saves.
The third and deciding game will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Fairview West Arena.
