Ardens continue to excel on home court

The Swift Current Comp. Ardens won all three games in dominating fashion at an impromptu four-team home tournament over the weekend.

They opened the tournament with a 69-37 win over the Weyburn Eagles. Grade 12 Mackenzie McIntyre led the Ardens with 13 points, followed by Jordyn Salberg with nine points.

The Ardens followed up on Saturday with a 90-26 win over the Estevan Elecs. McIntyre led the Ardens with 16 points, followed by 14 from Makayla Fleischfresser.

The Ardens wrapped up the weekend with an 87-37 victory over the Wynard Bears. Fleischfresser paced the Ardens with 24 points, followed by 12 points from rookie Dani Meyer.

The Ardens (7-2) are schedule to return to tournament action on Feb. 4-5 in North Battelford.
