The Swift Current Comp. Colts senior boys basketball team made their tournament debut in Warman with a fourth place finish with one win and two losses.
The Colts opened the tournament on Friday with a 57-45 loss to the Valley Christian Academy Lions. Parker Leonard led the Colts with 15 points, followed by seven from Virgilio Cervantes.
They bounced back with a 61-31 win over the Clavet Cougars on Saturday. Leonard and Brenden Ljunggren each scored 11 points, followed by 10 from Andrei Dimaano.
They concluded the tournament with a 53-40 loss to North Battleford John Paul II. Leonard led the Colts with 11 points, followed by seven apiece from Dimaano and Tyreice Zinger.
The Colts will be in Moose Jaw this weekend for the Moose Jaw AE Peacock Helping Hoops tournament. They will face Estevan on Friday to open the eight-team event.
