SWAC runners compete at Cross-Country Provincials

SWAC sent 13 runners to the SHSAA Provincial Cross-Country Championship near Humboldt. There were between 80-100 runners from across the province in each of the races.

The top finish came from the Swift Current Comp. Ardens’ Amara Gatzke in 21st spot in the Junior Girls Division.

SWAC results were as follows:

Intermediate boys: Grayson Arendt, Shaunavon High School (26th), Jaydon Skrumeda-Sawby, Maple Creek Composite School (72nd), Micky Lane, SHS (89th), Russell Pole, SHS (94th), Zavis Lavallee, Ponteix (98th).

Intermediate girls: Hannah Ulm, Ponteix (46th), Tiffany Broderick, MCCS (dns-injury).

Junior boys: Robert Winter, Rock Solid Refuge (71st).

Junior girls: Amara Gatzke, Swift Current Comprehensive High School (21st), Dakota Jorgensen, Vanguard (26th).

Senior boys: Noah Schramm, RSR (49th).

Senior girls: Hillary Lacelle, SCCHS (22nd), Greta Lopeter, SCCHS (39th).

Hillary Lacelle, Amara Gatzke, and Greta Lopeter represented the Swift Current Comprehensive High School at SHSAA Cross Country Provincials in Humboldt.
