Broncos to open season against Blades

The Swift Current Broncos will open their 24-game season on March 13 against the Saskatoon Blades.

The Western Hockey League announced the full 2020-21 East Division schedule, which will be played at the Brandt Centre in Regina with no spectators.

The Broncos have been in Regina since Saturday, quarantining in the ‘Hub,’ which features five teams from Saskatchewan and two from Manitoba.

One notable game will be a March 20 contest against the Moose Jaw Warriors that will feature a tribute to the late Colby Cave.

The Broncos will play 24 games over the course of 47 days, concluding on April 28 against the Prince Albert Raiders.

Broncos games will be available on a new streaming service this season. For $59.99, fans can watch every game in the 2020-21 WHL season on CHL TV.
