The 15U Yellow Female Junior SunDogs volleyball team finished with a 4-4 match record at Sask Cup #1 in Saskatoon over the weekend.
The 15U SunDogs, coached by Hayley German, finished with a 1-4 record on Saturday, including a trio of three-set matches to conclude the day. They lost their opening matches to the JCVC Inferno (23-25, 15-25) and the Red Coat Rebels (10-25, 13-25). They rebounded with a win over the Outerlimits High Voltage (25-10, 23-25, 15-8), followed by three-set losses to the Edam Storm (25-23, 24-26, 10-15) and the Yorkton Blitz (28-30, 25-23, 13-15).
The SunDogs won all three matches on Sunday to win Tier 4 gold. They defeated the Kindersley Hurricanes (25-16, 23-25, 16-14), Warman (25-23, 25-18), and the JCVC Thunder (25-19, 21-25, 15-12).
