It was a successful opening day for Cabri’s Shaun Meachem at the 2020 SaskTel Tankard Men’s Provincial in Melville on Wednesday.
The Meachem rink defeated Regina’s Samuel Wills 7-1 in eight ends to open the provincial championship.
Meachem will face Langenburg’s Kody Hartung on Thursday morning.
