The Swift Current Southwest Terminal Peewee AA Broncos won three of four games at their home tournament over the weekend.
The Peewee Broncos opened the tournament with a 7-1 win over the Regina Buffalos. Ryder Woods scored a natural hat trick during a four-point outing, while Parker Rondeau added two goals and two assists. Aiden Kilshaw earned the win in goal.
Gage Nagel added a goal and two assists, while Wesley Olson also scored. Aston Annesley and Sam Kirwan each had two assists, followed by singles from Nate Silbernagel, Brady Simpson, Ryden Lingenfelter, and Griffin Darby.
The Broncos followed up with a 7-2 win over Tisdale on Friday evening when Rondeau finished with a goal and five assists and Woods scored four goals and added one assist. Sam Kirwan chipped in three assists and Derric Dulatre added a goal and an assist.
Nagel also scored, while Payton Keller and Silbernagel added assists. Berney Weston earned the win in goal.
The Broncos lost on Saturday 4-3 to the Saskatoon Express. Rondeau, Dulatre, and Nagel all scored with assists from Will Kirwan, Darby, Sam Kirwan, and Olson. Kilshaw suffered the loss in goal.
The Peewee Broncos concluded the tournament on Sunday morning against the Lumsden Lions and won 7-4, led by three goals and one assist from Woods. Olson scored twice, Nagel added a goal and an assist, and Sam Kirwan also scored.
Simpson and Dulatre each had two-assist outings, while Annesley, Rondeau, Keller, and Will Kirwan all added single helpers. Weston earned the win in goal.
The Peewee Broncos return to league action on Saturday when they host the Estevan Bruins at 5:30 p.m. at Fairview East Arena.
